Breaking Bread

Fellow Pastors,

I received an email from Pastor Anita Avila, who was recently installed at our Houston Oakwood Spanish Church. The email was full of good news, and I was at a moment when I sure needed to hear some!

Then I had the thought that maybe there was more good news out there. 

So, if you have something happening in your life and ministry that qualifies as good news, I'm asking you to share that with me. You can reply to this email, or email me directly at [email protected] or text me at 832-443-1999.

By the way, I hope that you share good news as often as you have the opportunity with your congregation and also your fellow pastors in your area and on the district. Let's all agree to celebrate more when we see God at work.

I hope to see each of you next week at District Assembly.  I strongly urge you to pray that we would have more than just annual meetings, but that the Holy Spirit would permeate every service, session, workshop, hallway conversation, and meal that we share.

I love and appreciate each of you. You are a redeemed, called, and blessed servant of Jesus Christ. Hey, now that's some good news right there!
